Our client is a mid-tier firm who are seeking to hire a Manager for one of their largest offices but are able to offer this role as 100% remote. Their Business Advisory division is experiencing ongoing growth from client referrals and value-add services. They have invested in top tier cloud-based technology and will provide you will all the hardware and software required to seamlessly work from home and continually feel part of the Sydney team with ease of access to partners and your team daily. You will have the option to have your travel expenses paid for if you do wish to visit the office and attend social functions. 

The firm leads the charge in relation to staff development and training. You will have access to professional development programs and be allocated a budget which you can decide to spend how you like to assist you in your career growth. 

Working hours are completely flexible and the role is able to be full-time or part-time to best suit the candidate. 
 

About the Role 
 
This role is perfect for an experienced supervisor or manager who has a dedicated work ethic and can take responsibility for their time-management and workflow. You will be working 100% remotely, and be guided by the partners to assist on a diverse portfolio of Australian and multinational clients on business advisory and tax matters (around $650-800k in fees). 
 
In addition, you will: 
  • Communicate with clients via video call and phone to allow for close relationships and provide a trusted advisory service
  • Tax planning work, as well as indirect tax matters including GST, CGT, FBT and Div7a
  • Business Advisory work such as cashflow forecasting, budgeting, buying/selling of businesses etc
  • Delegate and review the work of 2-3 intermediates/seniors
 
 
Skills & Experience 
  • CA/CPA qualification
  • Ability to work independently without supervision 
  • Minimum 5 years Public Practice experience 
  • Technologically adept and confidence in working with clients virtually 
  • Australian/NZ permanent residency essential
