Strategic People & Culture Operations Manager

Job description

  • Chief of Staff | P&C
  • Strategic Operations | Governance | Executive Exposure
  • Scaling business

A rapidly growing organisation is seeking a commercially minded and highly organised Chief of Staff to support its People & Culture leadership team during an exciting phase of scale and transformation.

This newly created role will work closely with the Executive General Manager People & Culture and senior HR leaders to drive strategic coordination, governance, reporting, and operational effectiveness across the function.

This is a rare opportunity to step into a highly visible enterprise role with significant exposure to executive leadership, board-level reporting, and organisation-wide strategic initiatives. It is ideally suited to someone coming from HR Business Operations, HR Projects, consulting, transformation, or a strategic HR environment who is looking to broaden their enterprise capability and accelerate toward future executive leadership opportunities.

What you’ll be doing:
  • Coordinating strategic priorities and operational rhythms across the People & Culture function
  • Supporting board and committee reporting, ELT activities, business reviews, and enterprise planning cycles
  • Partnering with senior HR leaders to collate insights, reporting, and strategic updates
  • Driving governance processes, planning disciplines, and structured ways of working
  • Developing high-quality executive communications, presentations, and business documentation
  • Ensuring initiatives, priorities, and messaging are aligned to enterprise strategy
  • Creating visibility across competing priorities while maintaining a future-focused lens
What we’re looking for:
  • Experience in HR Business Operations, strategic program management, consulting, transformation, or a similar business management role
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail with a genuine passion for process improvement, governance, and operational excellence
  • Ability to operate confidently in fast-paced, evolving environments
  • Naturally collaborative, pragmatic, and down-to-earth approach
  • High levels of organisation, commercial acumen, and executive maturity
Opportunity:

This is an outstanding “stepping stone” opportunity for an ambitious manager-level candidate wanting broader enterprise exposure and a more strategic remit. You’ll gain direct access to executive decision-making, enterprise planning, and organisational strategy while helping shape the future operating rhythm of a growing business.

If you enjoy connecting the dots, bringing structure to complexity, and partnering with senior leaders to drive outcomes, this role offers exceptional long-term growth potential.
