Senior Legal/Legal Counsel - Commercial and Franchising
Leading FMCG organisation
Hybrid Working

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Legal Counsel to join a leading FMCG organisation. Reporting directly to the General Counsel you will join a collegiate legal team, working closely with stakeholders and providing general commercial advice and supporting their franchising operations.

Beyond this, you will provide commercially focused legal support across a range of areas, including:

Provideing expert advice on consumer protection privacy law
Drafting and negotiating general commercial contracts
Providing expert advice on consumer protection and privacy law
Providing advice on franchising obligations
Keeping the business up to date on regulatory issues and compliance
Liaising closely with the business and external counsel.

About You:
To be successful in this role, you will bring:

Ideally 5-8 years PQE gained from a reputable firm or leading in-house organisation.
Strong contract drafting and contract review skill set as well as commercial acumen.
Strong franchising experience
Excellent interpersonal skills to build relationships and communicate with all levels of stakeholders.
Previous experience in FMCG and/or retail leasing (highly regarded)
Proven Experience managing or mentoring others
A proactive, self driven approach
Proven Experience managing or mentoring others
