The role will report into the General Counsel ( Commercial & Data) and be joining an experienced commercial and consumer legal team.

About the Role
We are partnered with a leading Australian multinational organisation who are seeking a senior corporate counsel – commercial to assist with a transformation across technology and digital solutions. The role will report into the General Counsel ( Commercial & Data) and be joining an experienced commercial and consumer legal team.
Key Responsibilities;
- Providing strategic advice across commercial, consumer, and regulatory matters
- Leading legal support across retail and consumer sales channels
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating retail distribution and commercial agreements
- Advising on legal and conduct risk in consumer sales environments
- Translating complex legal and regulatory issues into practical advice for the business
- Monitoring regulatory developments across privacy, competition, and consumer law, ensuring proactive compliance
- Supporting continuous improvement of retail channel frameworks, policies, and controls
Key Requirements:
- Ideally 10+ years’ PQE, ideally with a mix of top-tier private practice and in-house experience
- Strong commercial and transactional background, including retail distribution agreements
- Experience in FMCG, or other regulated consumer-facing industries
- Strong knowledge of Australian regulatory frameworks ( consumer law, competition law, privacy)
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills across all levels
- Excellent communication skills and ability to manage competing priorities in fast-paced environments
