Senior Legal/Legal Counsel - Commercial
Leading FMCG organisation
Hybrid Working

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Legal Counsel to join a leading FMCG organisation. Reporting directly to the General Counsel you will join a collegiate legal team, working closely with stakeholders and providing general commercial advice across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

Drafting and negotiating general commercial contracts
Providing expert advice on consumer protection and privacy law
Providing advice on franchising obligations
Keeping the business up to date on regulatory issues and compliance
Liaising closely with the business and external counsel.

About You:
To be successful in this role, you will bring:

Ideally 5-8 years PQE gained from a reputable firm or leading in-house organisation
Strong contract drafting and contract review skill set as well as commercial acumen
Excellent interpersonal skills to build relationships and communicate with all levels of stakeholders
Previous experience in FMCG and/or retail (highly regarded)
A proactive, self driven approach.
