Our client a global organisation is seeking a senior legal counsel to join their experienced legal team with expertise in construction and infrastructure projects. The role will involve providing critical legal and commercial advice to the business on construction projects across road, rail, tunnels.
  
Key Responsibilities:

  • Drafting, reviewing  and negotiating major construction and infrastructure contracts
  • Working on EPC, D&C, alliance, PPP, JV agreements
  • Supporting the projects teams and working closely with key stakeholders
  • Providing advice on risk allocation, claims management and dispute avoidance
  • Working closely with and managing external counsel.
 
Key Requirements
  • Ideally 10+ years PQE experience from a leading firm or in-house organisation
  • Previous experience in construction law and large scale infrastructure projects
  • Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills with the ability to manage complex, high-value transactions
  • Excellent negotiation and relationship building skills
