Senior ER & People Risk Advisor (Temp)
Sydney | Hybrid (2 office / 3 remote) | Contract until approx. 3- 4 months
We’re seeking an experienced Senior Employee Relations & People Risk Advisor to join a purpose-driven organisation on a temporary basis while an ongoing recruitment process is underway.
About the role You’ll provide expert advice across employee relations, WHS, and wellbeing, supporting managers with complex matters and helping maintain a safe, fair and compliant workplace.

About the role You’ll provide expert advice across employee relations, WHS, and wellbeing, supporting managers with complex matters and helping maintain a safe, fair and compliant workplace.
Key responsibilities include:
- End-to-end management of complex ER matters (performance, conduct, grievances, investigations)
- Providing compliant, practical ER advice aligned to relevant frameworks and legislation
- Supporting WHS systems, policies, and psychosocial risk management
- Designing and delivering wellbeing initiatives
- Strengthening respectful workplace practices
- Strong experience in employee relations and workplace investigations
- Sound knowledge of WHS and relevant legislation (Fair Work Act, WHS Act, APS frameworks)
- Experience developing WHS and wellbeing initiatives
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Tertiary qualification in HR, IR or WHS
- Australian citizenship required for APS employment
