Quality, Compliance & Safeguarding Manager (NDIS) - Parramatta Location

The Opportunity: 

An interesting and unique opportunity, this established and highly regarded aged care and disibility provider are in a phase of growth and are seeking a passionate and experienced Quality, Compliance and Safeguarding Manager to join their collaborative and tight-knit team. 
 
This is a builder role and will aim to transition the business from reactive to proactive compliance through robust policies and "fresh eyes."
 
A snapshot of the role:

  • Owning and maintaining the organisational policy and procedure register, ensuring all documents are current, version-controlled, and accessible to staff. 
  • Leading the scheduled review cycle for all policies and procedures and ensuring reviews are completed on time. 
  • Drafting new policies and procedures in response to legislative changes, regulatory updates, incident findings, or operational needs. 
  • Overseeing the complaints management system end-to-end - intake, triage, investigation, resolution, and closure.
  • Coordinating the collection, analysis, and submission of quality indicator data for both NDIS and aged care services within required timeframes. 
  • Monitoring and interpreting regulatory changes across NDIS, aged care, WHS, Fair Work, and privacy legislation, and advising the executive team on implications and required actions. 
  • Coordinating and leading preparation for external certification audits, mid-term audits, and renewal audits (NDIS and aged care). 

A snapshot of the ideal person:

  • Minimum 3–5 years experience in a compliance, quality, or governance role within the NDIS disability services sector. 
  • Demonstrated people management experience, including performance management, coaching, and development of at least one direct report. 
  • Experience managing end-to-end internal and external audit processes, including preparation, coordination, evidence compilation, and corrective action management. 
  • Experience with complaints management systems, incident management, and regulatory incident reporting (NDIS reportable incidents). 
  • Proven ability to develop, implement, and maintain risk management frameworks and risk registers. 
  • Strong policy and procedure drafting skills with attention to legislative compliance and practical application
