People Systems & Optimisation Lead (Dayforce)
Contract: 6–12 months | Immediate Start
We’re seeking an experienced Dayforce specialist to step into a high-impact contract focused on systems optimisation, process evolution, and operational efficiency across People & Payroll.
This is not a BAU role — it’s a project-led opportunity for someone who can assess current-state processes, identify gaps, and drive a clear roadmap to a more efficient, future-fit environment.

The Role Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will take ownership of Dayforce optimisation and process transformation, with a strong focus on improving workflows, governance, and system capability.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the evolution and optimisation of Dayforce, including configuration, workflows, and system improvements
- Reviewing current HR and payroll processes and designing a more efficient future state
- Driving process improvements and automation to reduce manual effort and increase accuracy
- Partnering with HR, Payroll, IT, and external vendors to enhance system performance and integration
- Supporting and uplifting payroll processes, improving efficiency and compliance
- Ensuring data integrity, governance, and system best practice across the employee lifecycle
- Acting as a project lead, managing timelines, stakeholders, and delivery outcomes
You bring:
- Hands-on Dayforce experience (essential) – including optimisation, configuration, and process improvement
- Proven experience in HRIS or payroll systems transformation / optimisation projects
- A project mindset with the ability to assess, redesign, and implement improved processes
- Strong understanding of HR and payroll operations, with exposure to compliance and governance
- Ability to work independently, manage stakeholders, and deliver in a fast-paced environment
- A continuous improvement mindset, with a focus on efficiency, scalability, and system capability
- 6–12 month contract with immediate start
