- Legal Counsel /Senior Legal Counsel
- Broad Commercial Property Role
- Sydney – Hybrid working
Our client a leading commercial business operating across the Infrastructure, energy, resources, transport, defence and building and construction sectors is seeking a property legal counsel to join it’s growing legal team. Reporting into the Head of Legal this is a key role within the legal team providing legal support to the business across a variety of property related transactions including commercial leasing and property development matters, joint ventures, property acquisitions and sales and divestments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing legal advice on development agreements, joint ventures, property acquisitions and sales and divestments.
- Review and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts including leasing agreements
- Analyse and identify legal risks and implications for the business
- Manage and build relationships with key stakeholders
Key Requirements:
- Ideally a minimum of 4-6 years PQE gained either from a renowned private practice or In-house organisation
- Previous experience in property development and acquisitions and sales
- Proven negotiation and project management skills
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to provide outcomes focused advise to the business
- Motivated and proactive with day to day tasks.
