Our client a leading commercial business operating across the Infrastructure, energy, resources, transport, defence and building and construction sectors is seeking a legal counsel to join it’s expanding legal team.
 
Reporting to the Legal Director, this role will involve:
 
Key Responsibilities: 
  • Providing strategic commercial and legal advice on major infrastructure projects across a number of sectors including transport, renewables and resources
  • Managing material disputes and claims
  • Managing risk for projects in delivery
  • Providing advice on contractual dispute resolution procedures
  • Building strong relationships with key stakeholders 
 

Key Requirements: 
  • Ideally a minimum of 4-7years PQE gained either from a renowned private practice or In-house organisation
  • Experience in construction projects 
  • Exposure to general litigation, finance or property will be viewed favourably
  • Proven ability to manage competing deadlines
  • A pro-active and commercial approach to projects and work loads.
