HR Business Partner | Immediate Start | 12 month FTC

We're seeking an experienced and proactive HR Business Partner to join a well established health-based organisation within a warm and collabortive team based in the heart of the Sydney CBD on an initial 12 month FTC. 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Partner with internal leaders and stakeholders to deliver people strategies that support business objectives.
  • Provide advice and guidance on employee relations, performance management, workplace investigations, and disciplinary matters.
  • Support managers with employee performance, development, coaching, and succession planning.
  • Build trusted relationships with leaders to identify workforce challenges and implement practical HR solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with Australian employment legislation, Modern Awards, National Employment Standards (NES), and company policies.
  • Manage end-to-end employee relations matters, including grievances, misconduct, and workplace conflict resolution.
  • Support recruitment activities, including workforce planning, interviewing, and onboarding where required.
  • Partner with leaders to improve employee engagement, retention, and organisational culture.
  • Develop, review, and implement HR policies, procedures, and best practice initiatives.
  • Coach managers to build leadership capability and confidence in people management.
  • Lead and support organisational change initiatives, restructures, and workforce planning activities.
  • Support learning and development initiatives, identifying capability gaps and coordinating development opportunities.
  • Contribute to HR projects focused on continuous improvement and systems. 

About you:
  • Must be able to start immediately
  • Previous experience in a HR Business Partner role or strong senior Senior HR Advisor experience is a must
  • Strong organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail
  • Confident communicator with a professional approach
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and work efficiently in a high-volume environment
