They are seeking a high calibre Financial Operations Accountant to join their Finance team.
Description
Responsibilities include:
- Performing daily bank and balance sheet reconcilliations
- Processing daily journals and investigating discrepancies
- Manage and maintain the Fixed Assets Register
- Assist with AP/AR
- Perform month-end, quarter-end and year-end accounting processes, including accruals, provisions and balance sheet reconciliations,

The successful candidate must be:
- CA/CPA qualified or working towards
- Financial Operations Accounting experience ideally within Financial Services
- Prior expereince with volume bank recs, balance sheet recs, journal processing and exception resolution.
- Trust Accounting experience within the non-bank lending sector will be highly regarded
- Enthusiastic, positive attitude, attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Intermediate Excel skills (ability to build pivots, v-lookups and complex formulas)
- Must be Australian Permanent Resident or Citizen
