Description 

The Business Analyst will have primarily have responsibilities within the modelling of best practice around business processes, documenting business requirements and maintaining communication across different teams internally and externally:
  • Data Analysis - Extract internal & external data to understand the scale of the problem/ opportunity and any trends in the data.
  • Business Requirements - Detailed documentation and validation of business requirements.
  • KPI / Success Criteria - Document what success looks like for the feature/ release.
  • Functional Requirements - Create functional specifications for the product including features, functionality and process flows.
  • User Workflows / Scenarios - Define the various user scenarios and map out the processes & workflows which needs to occur in each scenario.
  • Wireframes & UX – Review the Design teams wireframes & UX and ensure that they meet the requirements and success criteria for the product.
  • Feedback Loop - Setup a regular feedback check ins on the designs from key stakeholders (And customers in some instances).
  • Epics & User Stories - Create Epics and User Stories, ensuring stories are releaseable components that include a high level user story with clearly defined acceptance criteria.

Profile
  • Microsoft Office in particular: Visio, Powerpoint, Word, Excel (advanced).
  • Jira and Confluence (not essential but highly regarded).
  • Experience with the Agile product development process, including documenting backlogs, representing the customer when answering questions or reviewing technical development and assisting clients with UAT
  • Process documentation. Experience with BPMN is a distinct advantage.
  • Requirements interpretation, definition and documentation.
  • A preference for working in fast paced environments with fluid requirements.
  • Experience in managing and working within an agile environment.
  • Values partnership, trust, collaboration and communication.
  • Demonstrated project management capabilities (agile and waterfall).
