Are you an experienced Restaurant Manager ready for your next step, or an existing Area Manager looking to join a growing Australian success story?

Our client is a well established and expanding restaurant group with a strong presence across Australia. With a reputation built on great food, exceptional customer experiences and a family focused culture, they are seeking an Area Manager to support a portfolio of restaurants across South-West Sydney.

This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with franchise partners and restaurant leaders, helping them deliver operational excellence, develop their teams and maintain brand standards across multiple locations.

About the Role
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for supporting 10-15 restaurant locations, acting as a trusted advisor, coach and operational leader.

You will work closely with Restaurant Managers and franchise partners to:
  • Drive operational consistency and customer experience standards
  • Coach and develop Restaurant Managers and leadership teams
  • Deliver training and ongoing operational support
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Monitor restaurant performance and identify improvement opportunities
  • Assist franchise partners to achieve business objectives
  • Conduct regular restaurant visits and operational reviews
  • Support new initiatives, process improvements and business growth
  • Occasional nights and 1 weekend a month may be necessary 
About You
To be successful, you will bring:
  • 3-5+ years' experience within restaurant or hospitality operations
  • Experience leading teams in full service restaurants, casual dining or hospitality environments
  • Strong coaching, mentoring and people development skills
  • A hands-on leadership style with excellent communication skills
  • The ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders
  • Strong operational and commercial awareness
  • A passion for hospitality and delivering outstanding customer experiences
  • A willingness to travel throughout the South-West Sydney region
Qualifications such as Food Safety, First Aid or WHS certifications are highly regarded but can be provided through training.
