About the role

Reporting to the Finance Manager, this 12-month fixed-term contract will see you take ownership of Accounts Receivable and collections activities across a diverse customer base. You will play a key role in managing outstanding accounts, resolving customer queries, maintaining accurate records, and supporting month-end processes.

Duties

  • Manage collections and follow up overdue accounts
  • Investigate and resolve customer payment queries
  • Process account adjustments, credits, refunds, and write-offs
  • Monitor and respond to finance inbox enquiries
  • Reconcile customer accounts and maintain accurate records
  • Support month-end reporting and journal processing
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders across multiple business locations
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiencies
Skills & experience

  • Previous experience in an Accounts Receivable or Collections role
  • Experience working within a high-volume or multi-site business
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel capability
  • Exposure to ERP systems such as SAP, Dynamics, Oracle, or similar
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
