Accounts Receivable Officer | 12-Month Fixed-Term Contract

About the role
Reporting to the Finance Manager, this 12-month fixed-term contract will see you take ownership of Accounts Receivable and collections activities across a diverse customer base. You will play a key role in managing outstanding accounts, resolving customer queries, maintaining accurate records, and supporting month-end processes.

About the role

Duties
- Manage collections and follow up overdue accounts
- Investigate and resolve customer payment queries
- Process account adjustments, credits, refunds, and write-offs
- Monitor and respond to finance inbox enquiries
- Reconcile customer accounts and maintain accurate records
- Support month-end reporting and journal processing
- Liaise with internal stakeholders across multiple business locations
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiencies
- Previous experience in an Accounts Receivable or Collections role
- Experience working within a high-volume or multi-site business
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Intermediate to advanced Excel capability
- Exposure to ERP systems such as SAP, Dynamics, Oracle, or similar
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
