• Accountant | 6-Month Contract
• Initial 6-Month Contract with Strong Potential to Become Permanent
• Up to $95,000 + Super

About the role
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the finance function during a period of change. This is a hands-on role that will suit someone who enjoys variety, partnering with operational teams and improving finance processes.
Duties
• Assist with month-end close activities
• Prepare journals, accruals and balance sheet reconciliations
• Maintain the fixed asset register
• Support inventory reporting and stocktake activities
• Assist with process mapping and SOP documentation
• Support budgeting, forecasting and ad hoc analysis
• Contribute to finance process improvements and integration projects
Skills & experience
• CA/CPA qualified or currently studying
• Previous experience as an Assistant Accountant or Financial Accountant
• Experience within manufacturing, inventory or stock-based environments highly regarded
• Strong Excel skills with the ability to analyse and manipulate data
• Experience working across multiple sites or business units advantageous
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
