With a relatively flat structure, you’ll gain exposure to all aspects of the commercial business and work closely with experienced leaders who will support your development into more senior roles.

This role will suit someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves, working autonomously and being part of a fast moving, growth focused business.

The Opportunity

This newly created role will see you take ownership of key Independent Grocery and national customer accounts, including the Metcash account and selected MSO groups. You’ll be responsible for driving growth, strengthening relationships, and delivering strong commercial results, while supporting broader national account initiatives.

This role offers a blend of hands on key account management and broader national support, perfect for someone looking to step up in FMCG sales and grow into a NAM role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and grow a major Independent Grocery account including joint business planning, promotions and range reviews
  • Identify and drive growth opportunities through ranging, distribution and in-store execution
  • Manage pricing, trading terms, rebates and promotional accruals
  • Track sales performance, forecasting and volume planning
  • Prepare customer presentations, reviews and range submissions
  • Build strong relationships with key customers and internal stakeholders
  • Work closely with merchandising partners to ensure strong in-store execution
  • Support broader national account initiatives and commercial project

What We’re Looking Fo

  • FMCG sales or account management experience (grocery, independents, or convenience channels preferred)
  • Exposure to promotional management, forecasting, claims, and trade spend
  • Strong commercial acumen with analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Confident managing multiple stakeholders and priorities
  • Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset, energy, and resilience
  • Advanced Excel and customer portal experience advantageous
