Sales/Account Manager - 12 month contract

Client Details

A 100% owned Australian business who have been established for in excess of 70 years.  The organisation offer a wide array of products which are sold through various channels including grocery and foodservice alongside a large export division.    


The role of Sales/Account Manager will be responsible for managing a variety of customers ranging from independent bread shops to large food manufacturers.  The successful candidate will likely spend 4-4.5 days on the road nurturing existing relationships alongside identifying new business opportunities.  Key tasks include;

  • Plan and execute to meet territory budgets and KPI’s
  • Work closely with key distributors
  • Liaise with key partners to establish the best methods of sales promotional activities
  • Develop and update product knowledge with distributors and end-users
  • Prospect new distribution opportunities
  • Manage/prepare sales reports and competitor analysis


Previous experience of performing a Field or Territory Account Management role within the food sector.

Job Offer

Base salary ranging from 80-90k plus super and company car
