Financial Accountant

• $40 - $50 per hour (including Super)
• Temp to perm opportunity

With over 1,400 clients and 100 years in the business this firm is leading their clients from strength to strength. A recent surge in client acquisitions has led to expansion of their finance team.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be initially engaged in a 4–6 month contract that has the potential to become a permanent role for the right candidate. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Year-end activities
• Financial reporting and compliance
• Manage Accounts Receivable
• Bank reconciliations and month end activities
• Respond to auditors and other stakeholders
• BAS, FBT and payroll tax
• Fixed asset register maintenance

About you:

You are a hardworking, friendly accountant who is comfortable on the phone and able to solve problems in a calm manner. Additionally, you will be:

• CA/CPA qualified
• 2-3 years of experience as a financial accountant (or similar)
• Intermediate Excel (pivot, lookups)
• Possess a can-do attitude
• Communicate clearly and build relationships
