An opportunity has arisen for a Restructuring and Insolvency Associate with 2-4 years’ PAE to join our clients Restructuring and Insolvency team which sits within the broader Dispute Resolution practice group. 
 
The Team:
 
Our client’s specialist Restructuring & Insolvency team has an impressive track record and market reputation in many of Australia’s largest and most complex restructuring transactions, formal insolvencies and adjacent litigation on a local, regional and international level.
 
They are known for their practical, commercial advice and problem solving, as well as their cross boarder capability.  They are instructed by major national and international organisations and leading insolvency practitioners in large-scale, complex restructuring and insolvency assignments, across a range of industries and disciplines.

Key Requirements:
  • Minimum 2–4 years’ experience in restructuring and insolvency;
  • Relevant experience in a top tier or leading international firm preferred;
  • Strong restricting and insolvency expertise;
  • Dispute resolution experience;
  • Strong client service orientation;
  • Strong technical, drafting and commercial skills;
  • Business development aptitude, interest and experience;
  • Excellent analytical, communication and research skills;
  • Commitment to high work standards and strong attention to detail;
  • An ability to demonstrate initiative and proactivity;
  • Ability to develop strong relationships with clients and to take responsibility for this relationship;
  • Ability to work well in a team environment (including across Australian offices and internationally);
  • A willingness to learn; and
  • A willingness to develop others through mentoring and sharing experiences.
