Technical Analyst - Infrastructure & Networks
Great opportunity to join this well known healthcare provider in a newly created role. The role will be working in an IT team of around 20 supporting their Infrastructure and Networking systems. The company has a hybrid Windows/VMWare and Unix (Linux) set up with 2 on prem data centres along with an ongoing jouney of moving to Cloud based tech. Your role will provide technical IT services in relation to Infrastructure including servers, storage systems, networks, security and related software tools and operating systems. You will also be required to provide support in relation to IT related incidents. There is an opportunity to work across both Infrastructure and Networking in this role.
Experience required:
At least 4-5 years’ experience in delivery of technical infrastructure and or networking services.
Use and exposure to Unix/Linux, Windows Server, VMWare and hyper-converged environments.
Excellent communication (both written & verbal) and interpersonal skills that help build and develop teamwork, and establishes successful working relationships with stakeholders.
Any experence across Networking including a variety of network manufacturer equipment (e.g. CISCO, Juniper, Cumulus etc.) or an understanding of communication protocols (mainly TCP/IP) and routing protocols (e.g. BGP, OSPF) would be beneficial.
Prior experience in the Health industry (private or public) and the use of supporting infrastructure technologies and standards e.g. DICOM, HL7 is desirable
Relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology or Computer Science and or relevant industry technical qualifications e.g. MCSE, VCP, CCNA.
