Service Desk Team Leader

Great opportunity to join this company who are leaders their field.  This is a hands on role to help them establish the set up and management of their Service Desk environment.  

The role:
Manage a small team (both inhouse and offshore)
Manage the workflow and monitoring of the Jira Service Desk
Interact with customers to gain clear understanding of their issues
Conduct triage and basic troubleshooting; understand and work to refine the escalation process
Gain a deep understanding of functioning of the Platform and Services
Excellent leadership skills and able to nurture a growing team
Work with internal teams across IT, Professional services, Sales and Quality Assurance 

Proven work experience in Senior Service Desk roles
Proven track record of Customer Service
Experience in Jira Service Desk (Configuration & Operation) is mandatory
Experience in Service Desk reporting 
Strong problem solving skills and willingness to roll up one's sleeves to get the job done
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent leadership skills and able to nurture high-performing teams
Extremely comfortable in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
Enthusiasm for startup culture

BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent preferred
Experience in a geographically dispersed environment is highly valued
Solid technical understanding and/or hands-on experience in Application Support

This position is a remote work from home environment and can be based anywhere in Australia.
