Client Details

The client is a beverage manufacturing business east of Penrith running 24/7. As a result of growth and spare capacity the business requires a Plant Manager to spearhead change management and waste reduction projects on site. 

Description

Reporting to the GM Operations you will be responsible for circa 60 staff and performance metrics for this high volume 24/7 plant. Your focus will be on output, safety and producing right first time to retailer standards. You will be expected to engage in CI and waste reduction projects when youre not on the shop floor with your operators and supervisors. You will be central to upcoming projects around automation and new line implementations.

Profile

You are an experienced Plant/ Operations Manager with a strong understanding around OEE/ Lean Manufacturing and change management. You will be able to evidence having run a food or beverage manufacturing  plant (ideally dairy) operationally along with demonstrable results regards performance and people development. Ideally your experience will be backed up with a tertiary qualification in a relevant field.

Job Offer

Circa $185,000 + super
