As the Account Director you will be taking responsibility for leading and running accounts. Responsible for managing client relationships, managing budgets and creating campaigns. In addition, you will be mentoring junior members of the team and delegating tasks. New business will be a key area of the role where you can go after clients in a variety of industries. This role would be ideal for someone who has a keen interest in food and drink as this is the core client base.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage projects to ensure exceptional outcomes across media
  • Working on traditional PR campaigns as well as running events, organising media briefings and working on coverage reports
  • Working on strategies and managing budgets
  • Building up media relations and maintain relationships
  • Creating press releases and web copy
  • Involvement in new business research and pitches
  • Reporting and feeding back to clients on campaign successes
  • Building and maintaining client relationships
  • Involvement in social media strategies for clients
  • 5+ years PR agency experience
  • Attention to detail
  • Very agile and happy to step in when and where help is needed
  • Strong media relations
  • Mix of client experience from different industries, in particular leisure and lifestyle
  • Strong experience leading b2c campaigns
