Production Shift Manager (Afternoons, 13:00-21:00)

Client Details

The client is a food manufacturing business near Liverpool running 12 + lines, 24/6.5. As a result of growth and additional shift sbeing added the busines requires a Production Shift Manager for the afternoon shift who is able to work different shifts and rosters to suit business needs. 

Description 

Reporting to the Operations Manager you will work alomngside another Shift Manager managing 60 staff on site in total.. On shift you will be responsible for circa 6o0 staff and 12 + lines. Your focus will be on output, safety and producing right first time to retailer standards. You will be expected to engage in CI and waste reduction projects when youre not on the shop floor with your operators and supervisors. 

Profile

You are an experienced Production/ Shift Manager from within food/beverage/ pharmnaceutical manufacturing. You will be able to evidence runnings shifts with multiple lines and large teams and be able to evidence an understanding of CI and Lean Manufacturing. You will be flexible on shift work and excited about working for a famous food manufacturing brand.
