As the Business Analyst/PM you will manage small-medium business and/or regulatory change initiatives independently, using standard project management techniques and provide project coordination support to other Project Managers within the team as required.

  • Work with stakeholders to develop plans and accurate estimates for completion of requirements, continuously improving the level of detail and accuracy of estimates
  • Manage the documentation and monitoring of project risks, assumptions, dependencies and constraints using RAID or equivalent logs
  • Facilitate workshops and working group meetings with stakeholders, and ensure outcomes are sufficiently documented
  • Manage project communications including status reports to senior executives, stakeholders, business units, vendors, project team, etc.
  • Facilitate collaborative sessions with small to medium numbers of business stakeholders to drive requirements discovery, analysis, and business solution
  • Analyze and document detailed business requirement and industry-standard techniques, and work with stakeholders to gain consensus
  • Produce summary findings and recommendations at a standard appropriate for senior manager consumption
  • Prepare requirements for review and lead requirements walkthrough and approvals
  • Plan and coordinate User Acceptance Testing, ensure the test case universe validates the agreed business scope
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Science and equivalent
  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience working in a change/project management function, within Financial Services
  • Minimum 5 years relevant business analysis experience
  • Experience with various project delivery methodologies, such as Waterfall, Iterative, and/or Agile
  • Strong commercial acumen, knowledge and understanding of Banking (Front to Back) processes, with a focus on Capital Markets
  • Strong functional knowledge/ experience of Finance processes
  • In-depth understanding of Finance data and process flows front to back
  • Excellent organisation skill with experience working with various functions/departments
  • Ability to quickly familiarise oneself with knowledge of international business units, banking regulations, processes, requirements
  • Effectively communicate with all levels of users from working level to senior management
  • Quick learner, with the ability to understand new investment products and define/update processes to support the new product
