Client Details

This privately owned Sterile Manufacturing business in the West of Sydney was established several years ago and has a full order book with several large orders In the pipeline. The business requires a General Manager to control all aspects of operations from manufacturing to logistics and customer service.


Reporting to the MD the General Manager will have circa 30 reports across production, quality, supply chain, planning, maintenance and customer service. The general Manager will:

-Oversee the efficient running of operations (production, despatch, supply chain, customer service, quality)
-Ensure compliance of the facility in terms of GMP, Health and safety and regulatory policies and manage compliance to all relevant legislation, prioritising quality production and the safety of staff
-Be responsible for Financial Performance of the business including annual budget presentations and monthly variance to target
-Manage, review and improve all sterile processes
-Prepare annual maintenance and CAPEX budgets

Working for a small business you will need to build first class relationships both with customers and all internal heads of department. Your focus will be on creating a business best in class in terms of people, process and performance. You will be hands on in your approach but have the strategic vision to be able to grow the business in the coming years.


To be successful in applying for this role you will have run manufacturing operations as a General/ Operations/ Business Unit Manager. You will have a depth of knowledge around pharmaceutical, animal health and sterile manufacturing and ideally your experience will be complemented with a Tertiary qualification in a relevant field.
