Our client provides writing training and editing services for professionals in government agencies and private companies, offering an integrated suite of consulting services. They are market leaders with a strong presence and reputation within Government organisations and in an exciting growth phase expanding into more corporate organisations

Our client is looking for a Training Services Manager. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in the training sector, with experience in client servicing and account management for professional services. 

You will manage our writing training servicing and client account activity. This includes overseeing a high volume of enquiries and managing new and existing client accounts. You will ensure that the team meet our services requirements for training logistics, delivery and reporting. This position will supervise a Training Account Coordinator.

Key duties

  • Managing service enquiries and client accounts to grow the client base
  • Managing the training client journey from an enquiry through to post-service reporting
  • Drafting timely and high quality training service quotes, tenders and contracts
  • Monitoring service engagements to meet contract conditions and troubleshoot issues
  • Ensuring our training service and account communications meet high standards
  • Reporting on performance against set targets
  • Contributing to training service marketing and online activity
  • Maintaining and strengthening our client account data, systems and resources
  • Supporting and mentoring team staff with workflow activity and HR
  • Developing and overseeing service and team policies and procedures and processes.
Your experience
You will bring:
  • at least 3-4 years experience in the training sector, such as in managing adult training or learning and development programs
  • a solid track record in client account management in the corporate or government sector
  • a professional manner with a strong customer service focus
  • high competency in MS Office, CRMS and overall digital literacy
  • excellent time management and plain English communication skills
  • a university degree with relevant qualifications
  • understanding and experience of the government and corporate sectors.
