Our client is an Australian grown boutique retail chain, that has now grown to over 50 stores globally.  They are customer centric and passionate about their people.  This is an exciting opportunity to join this successful and growing company and as part of the Senior Management Team, you will participate in the strategic direction, as well as influence the day-to-day management of the business             
Key Role Duties:
  • Plan, recommend and devise people + culture and industrial relations policy in consultation with other senior management
  • Establish and direct people + culture procedures and strategies
  • Control and co-ordinate processes such as:
  • Recruitment,
  • Learning and Development,
  • Employee Relations,
  • Performance Management,
  • Work Health & Safety
  • Employee Benefits and Remuneration strategies
  • Monitor and measure organisational culture, making recommendations and taking action as required to improve morale and promote stated values of the organisation
  • Monitor industrial relations developments to prevent and settle disputes and ensure compliance with legislative requirements
  • Proactive ownership of Team feedback (via exit interviews, phone calls, emails, feedback, confidential team line, team engagement survey)
  • Provide coaching and advice on human resources matters to ensure compliant with current legislation and matters
  • Review People + Culture processes and develop structures and procedures which enhance the influence on the business
  • Embrace learning and coaching opportunities for self-development in all aspects by showing a flexible and proactive style
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Previous experience in human resource management role with medium-large company
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications
  • Ability to work under pressure with a proactive approach to resolving issues
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Previous experience with Neller (Preceda) payroll system
  • Previous experience with time and attendance platform
  • Previous experience with World Manager platform
  • Ability to work autonomously, prioritise tasks and achieve deadlines
