Our client, a well known and highly reputable National Law Firm, looking for an experienced Legal Assistant who is comfortable supporting multiple fee earners in a dynamic commercial real estate practice.  Your strong work ethic and drive to consistently deliver outstanding service in a timely manner will be highly regarded.  You will enjoy working in a close-knit team that participates in regular social activities to maintain team morale and engagement. 

Description:

  • Monthly billing and reporting
  • Liaising with clients
  • Document amendments and version control
  • Conducting property related searches
  • Carrying out electronic settlements and registration of Land Use Victoria applications (using PEXA platform) including arranging Duties Online forms and SPEAR applications.
  • Diary management
  • Other general administrative duties and support as required

In addition, the ideal candidate will possess:
  • Experience of 2 years or more experience in a similar role
  • A positive can-do attitude with a team-based approach to work
  • A true interest and a drive to continue learning and engaging with the legal and property industry
  • The ability to manage a varied workload
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
  • Experience using a document management system and PEXA
