Employee Relations Manager - FTC

A market leading communications business are looking for a seasoned Employee Relations Manager to to join their dynamic team on a contract basis. In this role you manage end to end HR/ER case management services including workplace grievances, disciplinary processes (including termination of employment), performance management processes, and workplace investigations

In addition to leading a team of HR/ER case management specialists, your responsibilities will include
  • interpretation and application of employment legislation, industrial instruments, policies & procedures
  • coach and support managers on investigations into allegations of unfair treatment, discrimination, bullying and harassment and provide advice to resolve issues and mitigate risks;
  • employee entitlements and contractual arrangements
  • position classification and classification reviews
  • performance management and disciplinary processes
  • non-work related injuries and return to work
  • resolution of disputes and grievances
  • change management and workforce reform
  • redeployment and redundancy

About you

  • Tertiary qualified in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business and/or Law,
  • 8 Years + management of employee relations cases, accompanied with strong business partnering and relationship management skills.
  • Experience leading team
  • Practical experience in conducting workplace investigations, disciplinary matters, grievances, and terminations;
  • In depth understanding of the Fair Work Act and the Australian employment framework.
