Procurement Specialist

Client Details

Global market leading FMCG Business based on the North Shore are currently looking for a dynamic, go-getter to join their New Products team as a Procurement & Supply Chain Specialist. This role is responsible for identifying and sourcing new Manufacturers to support New Product Development across a huge portfolio of new and existing products.

Responsibilities
  • Research and source local geographical based manufactures 
  • Present recommendations on potential supplier options
  • Negotiate contract terms, agreements, and pricing and align with corporate guidelines
  • Plan and execute successful contract negotiations or SLA’s
  • Provide detailed delivery timeline, management and ongoing reporting
  • Work with the quality team to review the quality of purchased goods
  • Develop product specifications in alignment with Retailer requirements 
  • Ensure correct and efficient supply of products to ANZ retailers
  • Collaborate with Regulatory Specialists to ensure product specifications, safety and stability results are compliant with local regulations
  • Evaluate current supplier performance
  • Comfortable running end to end procurement activities in sometimes highly regulated product environments
 
Skills & Experience

  • Min 5 years FMCG/Retail Experience
  • Tertiary qualifications in Supply Chain or related
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel and Power Point
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, Pronto, SAP, Oracle
