National Account Manager - Metcash

With a turnover in excess $250m this leading food manufacturer has sustainability and innovation at the heart of everything they do.  The organization has a variety of products across multiple categories, the business has enjoyed sustained growth over the last 2-3 years which has driven the need for this newly created role.  I’m looking for a current NAM, an NAE looking to take a step up or a Category Analyst/Executive keen on a more customer facing role.  The company has huge future growth plans making it an ideal time to join the business.


As a NAM you will support the National Business Manager and will be responsible for flawless execution of the cross functionally agreed commercial plan to ensure sales budgets are achieved whilst minimizing costs associated with the execution plan including trade spend and 3rd party agency fees.
Key responsibilities include;
  • Executing the commercial plan
  • Management of promotional program and trade spend
  • Monthly sales reporting
  • Reviewing data and creating a compelling story for retailers


  • Previous commercial experience within sales or category from a multi-national FMCG organization
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with proven ability to solve problems
  • Collaborative approach
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
