Our client is a registered NDIS provider, employing 2,500 staff and delivering personalised support services to over 13,500 people with disability, their families and carers each year. With a diverse range of service offerings and strong community partnerships gives customers easy access to the supports they need or want through a single gateway from many locations.
 
The Disability Operations team provides a range of services for people with disability, including Housing and Supported Living, Respite, Coordination of Supports, Early Childhood Early Intervention, Everyday Lifeskills, Sexuality and Relationship Education, Short Breaks and Outings, Vocation Skills Training and Employment, in local communities across the state.
With a recent Executive team restructure the opportunity is created for a Chief Operations Officer to manage all operational service delivery to people with disability.
Description
Reporting directly into the CEO this role will be a key part of the executive leadership team to lead the Disability Operations services function. To be considered for this role you will need to demonstrate resilience to enable you to be successful in a sector where 24/7 complex care services are being provided. You will be motivated to join a values based organisation where your brave, innovative approach will lead the transformation of their services. 
You will have proven capability & experience of uplifting the operational effectiveness of a team and quality of services provided, in a sector that is always changing. To be successful in this role the individual will need a high level of operational ability to negotiate with the executive and senior staff in government departments, corporations and not for profit entities. Initiative, flexibility, time-management and the ability to respond to competing priorities, with a strong commitment to the rights of people with a disability will be key to this role:

  • Tertiary qualified.
