Client Details

FutureYou have partnered with a small organisation in the recruitment of a new Payroll Manager to lead a stable team. This is a part-time opportunity 3 days a week, which could develop into more in time due to some future projects but nothing confirmed at this stage.

This is a role based in the Sydney Eastern suburbs leading a team of 2 Payroll Officers and paying 500 + employees. The need for a Manager is around streamlining processed and up-skilling the existing team. 

You will report into HR and work extremely closely together due to legislation requirements.

Description 

  • End to end processing of approx. 500 employees weekly and monthly
  • Full leadership of 2 direct reports
  • Process improvements and streamlining
  • Training on new systems 
  • MicrOpay 
  • Tax, super and all statutory deductions
  • Third party payments
  • HR and financial reporting
  • Ad hoc duties


Profile

This would suit someone who has a strong background in payroll looking to step up but cannot offer full-time hours. Great fit for a return to work mother or father, or someone who is still excited by payroll but ready to step back from full time.

Job Offer

In return this role is offering up to $120k + Super - this is the top end of the salary bracket on offer.

There is limited flexibility with WFH due to the nature of the team work required therefore for the majority of the 3 days a week, you will need to be in the office which is based in the Bondi Junction area. They have parking on-site. Hours are not fixed in regards to 9-5pm during these days - and the days works have flexibility too.
