Inventory Coordinator

•      Major name in food manufacturing looking for an Inventory Controller 

•      Scoresby Location, high volume food manufacturing plant

•      Reporting to the Logistics & Supply Manager taking ownership of site inventory 

Client Details

A multi line food manufacturer in Melbourne's East is looking for an Inventory Controller.  The site is automated and high volume and requires a dyanmic and flexible self starter.

Description 

Reproting to the Site Logistics & Supply Manager, the Inventory Controller will  be responsible for ensuring accuracy with regards to BOMS, routings and
inventory and to provide support to supply chain as required. Working closely with the site manufacturing, customer service and procurement teams the role holder will: 

-Co-ordinate and manage cycle count/stocktaking process to ensure accurate inventory (running cycle count reports and analysing results) 
-Run negative stock on hand reports, investigating and advising production against incorrect reporting 
-Review efficiency reports and investigate discrepancies in material usage
-Adjust BOM’s and Routings to ensure accuracy of line reporting, material variances and product costing
-Review stock using the QAD system

Profile

To be successful in applying for this role you will have emosntrated experience working as an inventory Controller/ Coordinator gained from within a food, pharmaceutical (or similar) manufacturing business. You will have strong system skills and be able to evidence improvements on stock accuracy. You will be hands on and enjoy a fast paced inventory role within a high volume, ever challenging food environment. 

Job Offer

Circa $90,000 + super
