Client Details

The client is in growth mode, experiencing a huge increase in turnover in the last 12 months. The site contains a $16m revenue business unit producing food products for the major multiple. The client requires a hands on Production Manager to lead and structure manufacturing operations.


Reporting to the Site Operations Director the Production Manager will take full control of this business unit producing short shelf life food products. Specifically you will:

•      Lead production operations and all first line management, labour planning etc on site
•      Ensure products are produced right first time at lowest cost
•      Manage a team of up to 150 staff in peak periods
•      Ensure a safety first culture at all times
•      Engage in continuous improvement projects
•      Work closely with Engineering to implement a preventative maintenance program


The client is looking for the best. To be considered for this role you will need to have the following:

•      Proven ability of managing a large team of at least 80 staff within a food (or drinks) manufacturing environment
•      Be able to evidence Continuous Improvement Implementation and the ability to get the best out of automation
•      You will need to be hands on and walk the shop floor regularly, motivating your team

Circa $150,000- $160,000 + super
