The Client
This is an established accounting firm based in the heart of North Sydney with c25 staff and $5m revenue. Located very close to transport links and with an established client base. Many of whom have been with the firm for 30 years or more. Their clients include wealthy families, established corporates and international businesses with subsidiaries in Australia. They have focused on servicing larger clients which require a diversified service offering which includes tax compliance for family & business, outsourced accounting, outsource CFO and a wide range of advisory services.
The Role
This opportunity has arisen because of a recent resignation and there is some urgency to find a suitable candidate. As a senior manager or director level candidate you will focus on overseeing all aspects of client delivery, team leadership and advancing the firm via business development and creating efficiencies.

Other aspects include:
- Managing a client portfolio of 700k in fees
- Reviewing work of managers and senior accountants
- Oversee review of offshore team
- Conduct client meetings
- Advise clients on complex tax matters
- CA/ CPA qualified
- Has worked on clients from a range of industries
- Experience dealing with clients end to end without partner assistance
- Has previously managed a substantial client portfolio
- Experience managing teams and developing people
- Convenient North Sydney location
- Work remotely 2 days per week
- Enjoy leading a team of experienced professionals, many with team 10+ years
- Access to a high calibre client base similar to Big 4 private clients
- Part-time considered case by case (4 days)
- Pathway to equity role in 6-12 months
