Client Details
Our client is a top communications agency in Sydney working with well knows consumer and corporate brands. Based in Waterloo and offering flexibility with working from home and excellent benefits such as unlimited annual leave.

As the Social Media Manager you will set and manage deadlines in order to deliver best practice work for the client. You will be an excellent manager and delegate and mentor the junior staff as well as managing up.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strong understanding of client industry (technology) and monitors social to become expert in field
  • Displays initiative and proactively takes the lead on the client
  • Strong communication skills and relationship building
  • Owns timelines and delivery having excellent time management
  • Manages budgets with no overspend
  • Drives social media delivery and deliver comprehensive social content calendars
  • Understand the role of social/digital for the client
  • Drafts social media playbooks
  • Managing social media influencers
  • Community management and propose content ideas according to industry trends
  • Provides channel recommendations and strong understanding of the role of paid, owned and earned
  • 3 – 4 years social media experience with relevant degree
  • Paid social skills
  • Strong project management
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Highly deadline oriented and able to self-manage and set priorities effectively
  • Excellent attitude and proactive
