LOCATION Sydney or Melbourne (can be based either of the places) 

ROLE

Our client is looking to recruit a BI Reporting Manager to join in their Reporting & Insights team, supporting their Asia Pacific offices.
You will work under the direction of the Head of Business Intelligence as part of a team of 16, based in the UK.

This is a busy, varied, standalone role for a go getter who can hit the ground running. As it is standalone role, manager infers the level of and autonomy of the role there are no direct reports in to this role.


TEAM STRUCTURE
Reporting & Insights team work closely with Finance, BD and IT.
The team is comprised of Reporting Analysts and Specialists, Business Analysts and Insight & Technical Analysts who monitor and report key metrics to demonstrate insights to the business.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
? Assume complete responsibility for APAC client reporting
? Champion the importance of data input and quality and ensure the client reporting team are viewed as a trusted data partner
? Build and maintain excellent working relationships with Clients, Partners and employees in the APAC region
? Plan the weekly, monthly and quarterly client delivery schedule
? Build and instil trust within the firm and understand the wider business.
? Track and report on team related outputs including: client report delivery, client reporting error rate, internal objectives, SLA adherence, KPI adherence and process adherence.
? Utilise Excel skills and reporting knowledge to recommend changes which would improve efficiency

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
? Experience in professional services, Management consulting or Legal services
? Excellent proof reading, editing skills and attention to detail
? Proficient in Excel (VBL codes and Macros)
? The gravitas to influence at Partner level and ability to challenge thinking
?  Power BI and SQL Experience
? Flexible and adaptable, comfortable with change
? Good persuader and confident presentation skills
? Excellent business writing and communication styles, adaptable to various situations
? Business benefit and results focused
? Service delivery focused
? Strategic and pragmatic; committed to ‘trusted adviser’ status
? Highly organized and able to prioritize workloads, manage multiple projects and negotiate deadlines
