Our client is a leading national firm with a growing demand in the commercial property, development & leasing space. Due an influx of work, a need has arisen for a commercial property lawyer or associate with 2-4 years’ PAE to join a friendly & collegiate team in Brisbane.

Acting for a broad mix of clients, including but not limited to, commercial property owners & developers as well as other corporates, you will undertake a whole raft of transactional work in the commercial property space including but not limited to:
  • Commercial property & leasing work (both commercial & retail) including commercial acquisitions & disposals from inception through to completion.
  • Drafting contractual documentation (including joint ventures), carrying out due diligence & assisting with complex projects including advising on issues such as structuring & financial implications; as well as ad hoc advice on
  • Title development, rural land issues, renewables & liquor licensing.
You will work closely with two approachable partners and have regular client contact. This role would suit a career driven mid-level commercial property lawyer looking to make a step-up career wise.

The ideal candidate will possess:
  • At least 2-4 years’ PAE in commercial property and commercial or retail leasing.
  • Some exposure to development work would be advantageous but not essential.
  • Commercially minded with a client-focused approach.
  • Excellent drafting & interpersonal skills with solid academics.
  • You will be motivated, energetic and pro-active with a strong work ethic.
