Client Details

An integral pillar of the community, our client services a large and diversified borough of NSW. Our client lives and breathes their values and is seeking to appoint a like-minded individual into the team on an 8mth contractual basis, with view to extension.

Sitting within a large and cohesive HR team, the HR Officer will triage all incoming queries. 

Description 

An experienced, passionate and emotionally intelligent HR Adviser will support the team and organisation with the following:

  • Undertaking HR investigations (or liaising with independent investigators) for the broader organisation
  • Assisting in the research and development of human resource projects, programs and training in consultation with external IR/ER provider 
  • Working in partnership with external resource to deliver high quality services to workplaces including providing operational support to external resource to expedite the delivery of Employment Relations advice
  • Provide input into issues impacting the strategic direction of people management for workplaces including enterprise agreement/Award application, human resource related policies and practices and other
  • HR/ER projects or programs
  • Assist in the monitoring of performance review process compliance by guiding managers in completing reviews within respective time-frames
  • Ensuring effective records management, data integrity, reporting and analytics

Profile


To be successful in this application, you will have:

  • At least three years experience in a similar role
  • Qualifications in Human Resources 
  • An interest in the Industrial and Employee Relations space
  • An innate ability to manage multiple priorities and do so in a calm and methodical manner
  • Tier one communication skills; you will be first POC for incoming queries from staff 
  • A strong work ethic and collaborative approach. The HR team is a tight unit who work very closely together and support each other in daily operations.
