A rare opportunity has arisen for a full function AP Officer to join a dedicated inclusive team of 6 on a temporary basis. This role has the scope to go permanent for th right person so the role is there for the taking if you are willing to work for it. 


Your Role

• Full function accounts payable 
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices
• Maintain supplier accounts and regularly review to ensure accuracy
• Reconcile supplier accounts and resolve issues
• Review supplier lists for accuracy and ensure payment files are accurately prepared
• Support month-end close tasks and general ledger reconciliations
• Management of the Accounts Payable mailbox and respond to telephone and email queries in a timely manner
• Contribute to improving, standardising and/or automate processes
• Assist with analysis, ad-hoc reporting, and project work as required

 
About you

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Commerce, Finance or similar
• 3+ years’ of experience in end to end Accounts Payable within high-volume, fast paced environments
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent work ethic and deadline driven
• Strong level of honesty, integrity, resilience, commitment and responsibility to work collaboratively and deliver great customer service to all stakeholders
