Internal Audit Manager

Client Details

Our client is a NFP organisation established in the Aged care space and are seeking to appoint an experienced Internal Audit Manager to support the establishment and management of organization wide compliance and internal control point issues as well as enterprise risk management (ERM) and business continuity planning (BCP) to minimise organisational risk and maximise benefits associated with all key support and front line services.


Your responsibilities will include: 
  • Oversight of annual audit plan deliverables to timeline and audit report quality assurance.
  • Tracking and ensuring follow up action on all issues and risks identified by internal audit
  • Internal Audit Program planning & testing
  • Meeting and understanding stakeholder needs
  • Completing audits as per the annual audit plan and comply with IIA and aged care standards and methodology
  • Management of internal audit staff and external subject matter experts.
  • Review & Advisory services
  • Implementation, management and support of effective and efficient organizational ERM and BCP activities


In order to be successful in this role, you must have: 
  • Demonstrated 5+ years of experience in Internal Audit, ERM and BCP
  • Aged care or similar experience
  • Outstanding internal consulting skills, stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills
  • Suitable level of financial, commercial, accounting, business analysis knowledge and experience
  • Experience carrying out the function within complex governance environments
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Strong team management experience
