The Assessor and Student Support Officer is positioned as the go-too for the eLearning course to ensure successful completion through honest assessment, monitoring, and continuous feedback. This is a computer-based role therefore it is important that you are comfortable with this set-up. 

The responsibilities of the role are as follows:
  • Responding to student questions or queries related to the course and content
  • Proficiency in LMS namely in the use of Moodle to address student queries
  • Review student progress and identify areas of concern or areas for development
  • Maintain contact with students to ensure they feel adequately supported
  • Assessing each module completed by students and providing constructive feedback and coaching to students to achieve successful completion
  • Actively engage with student discussion including facilitating further relevant discussion by posing questions for consideration and input
  • Analysing LMS reports to monitor student progress and identify areas for development 
  • Initiating, managing and facilitating webinars for students
  • Maintain all student records as required for reporting purposes


To be successful in this application, you will be aligned with the organisational purpose and values of respect and acceptance. You will have:

  • Similar experience in a community-based, allied health environment
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (essential)
  • An understanding of the RTO environment
  • Technical proficiency and operating knowledge of LMS's
  • A demonstrable track record supporting and assessing students
  • A considering and mature approach to work with people to achieve optimal results
  • No-fuss attitude - a pro-active mindset that simply 'cracks on'
  • The ability to WFH
