Description 

Our client is seeking a Website and Digital Manager who is responsible for managing the development, performance, accessibility and privacy aspects of digital platforms and content. The primary focus is the management and constant improvement of our client's website, intranet and publications. It also extends to digital initiatives for specific campaigns, events and corporate governance reporting. You will provide timely and accurate advice on digital communications policies, risks, government requirements and external trends.

Profile

Demonstrated experience in the development and maintenance of websites in the government sector and demonstrated knowledge of web requirements and standards in the government sector, including the Digital Services Standard (particularly security standards and WCAG 2.0 AA). Demonstrated proficiency in HTML, CSS and JavaScript (3+ years recent experience) with a focus on accessibility. The successful applicant will be a highly motivated team player who has a good eye for detail and has experience in developing positive and accessible digital experiences for complex content, and who can encourage and inspire new ways of communicating our client's information and advice to a diversity of digital audiences. 
 
Duties would include:
  • Management and development of website
  • Content publication on the website
  • Management and development of the intranet
  • Styling of Microsoft Word publications
  • Web analytics via Matomo
  • Management of newsletter mailouts system
  • Experience in git and e-learning
  • The ability to align key stakeholders and influence business outcomes
