Supply Chain Analyst- Manufacturing

Client Details

 The client is a leading name in plastics manufacturing with multiple sites. The business is transforming the Smithfield facility and is looking for a supply chain and materials analyst to identify improvement areas.


Reporting to a dynamic and ambitious Plant Manager the Supply Chain and Manufacturing analyst will improve supply chain and materials operations. Working closely with the Plant, Warehouse and Production Managers specifically you will:

- Design methods to gather supply chain and materials data linking closely with Production and Warehousing
- Develop systems and the planning process on site
- Implement a JIT manufacturing system and ordering process
- Identify opportunities across the facility for cost efficiencies
- In conjunction with the plant manager devise and run projects to simplify supply chain operations 


To be successful in your application you will have the following:

- A Degree in a supply chain or related field with a number of years experience analysing supply chains and materials for a manufacturing business 
- Ability to demonstrate considerable improvements regarding material flow and warehouse efficiencies
- A thorough knowledge of manufacturing and associated supply chains
- A dynamic approach to your role witht the ability to quickly get to the root cause of problems 

Job Offer

$80,000- $87,500 + super
