The Reception is a critical position in representing the organisation brand and will act as the face of the organisation for visiting clients. The requirements of the role are as follows:

  • To manage the smooth operation of the Receptionist duties, including managing and interacting with the off-shore Reception team to assist in your duties
  • To greet clients like they are life long friends
  • Coordinating the general office environment – keeping the office tidy, supplies stocked and equipment in good working order
  • Schedule client meetings and assist in managing Warren’s calendar (if needed), and assist in the preparation of those meetings if necessary
  • Answer all incoming telephone calls and take messages or action, as needed
  • Greet all visitors into the office and manage as appropriate
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail
  • Assist with the efficient running of the office and they are supported when and where necessary
  • To ensure client tax documents received into the office are logged and when accountant is finished, files are to be returned to the client in a timely manner
  • To ensure client communication and files are scanned in a timely manner
  • Provide general client service assistance as required
  • Creates and/or prints letters, correspondence and other documents where necessary
  • Scan documents for accountants to commence work for clients
  • Attend to banking, petty cash, etc as requested
  • Ordering stationery
  • Administrative support to the professional team as required
  • Assist with other administrative support as required


Our client is seeking to appoint a competent and professionally presented Receptionist into the team, with the following :

  • 2-3 years Receptionist experience in a similar industry; Professional Services, Legal Services or Financial Services
  • Tier one and immaculate corporate presentation
  • Tier one communication skills; you will be the face of the business and will be first contact with all clients
  • Self-motivated and pro-active; seeking to appoint a candidate who is happy to get involved in special projects and assist the team administratively
  • Strong problem-solving ability
  • Reliable 
  • Comfortable working in a silo position 
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite

Job Offer

Our client is keen to move quick for the right candidate who meets the above criteria. Professional | Legal | Financial Services experience is preferred.

  • Salary between $55000-68000 package (base including super)
  • Intimate working environment - must be comfortable working in a silo position but equally happy to help the team as required
