National Payroll Manager

Client Details

My client is a very successful manufacturing business in the construction space, having grown significantly over the last few years through acquisitions this business are in a very stable position. This role has come due to a recent decision by the current Payroll Manager to retire. 

You will have a team of 3 direct reports and reporting into Finance.

This is a large role with many different components such a BAU processing, project work and process improvements.


This role will include but not limited to:
  • Management of 3 direct reports
  • Processing of 2,500 employees weekly and monthly in Australia and New Zealand
  • Project work to merge multiple payrolls onto the same system
  • Implementation of a new time and attendance system
  • Negotiations of awards 
  • Reports for finance and HR
  • Other adhoc duties


In order to be considered, please ensure you have at least 2 years in a Management position, which similar number of direct reports or more. Project work is essential; having the ability to prioritise processing and project work is key. 

Please also ensure you have great communication skills.

Having construction/manufacturing industry knowledge is a plus.

Job Offer

In return you will receive $130k - $150k + super depending on experience. They are based in North Sydney near the station, however you will be WFH until further notice.
